011. Purpose
These rules set out the conditions under which users of the Altiora platform may take part in the referral programme. The programme allows users to recommend the Platform to new users and, subject to the conditions below, to receive a reward. Altiora reserves the right to amend, suspend or end the programme under the conditions set out in these rules.
022. Eligibility conditions
The programme is open to users with an active Altiora account. The referrer must hold a properly created account and must not be under suspension at the time the reward becomes payable. The referred user must be a new user who has never created an Altiora account or subscribed previously. Altiora reserves the right to request any supporting evidence needed to verify compliance with these conditions.
033. How referral works
Each user has a personal referral link or code. A referral is only valid where the referred user creates their account using that link or code and subsequently subscribes to a paid plan. Merely creating an account or taking a free trial gives no entitlement to a reward. The reward is only definitively acquired once the first payment of the referred user’s subscription has actually been collected, and provided there is no withdrawal, refund or payment cancellation.
044. Reward granted
As at the date these rules take effect, the reward granted to the referrer is a commission equal to 15% of the amount of the first subscription actually paid by the referred user, paid once (non-recurring). Depending on the option chosen by the referrer, this reward may be paid by SEPA bank transfer or converted into credit usable towards an Altiora subscription. The practical arrangements (minimum amounts, timeframes) are set out on the Platform. Altiora reserves the right to change the amount or nature of the reward for future referrals, without affecting rewards already acquired.
055. Fraud prevention
The following are prohibited in particular: self-referral, the creation of multiple accounts by the same person, the use of false identities, the use of automated means intended to artificially generate sign-ups, and any practice intended to subvert the normal operation of the programme. In the event of fraud, Altiora may refuse or cancel any reward, suspend the account concerned and end the user’s participation in the programme, without prejudice to any legal action.
066. Tax obligations
The referrer remains solely responsible for any tax, social security or reporting obligations arising from receipt of the sums paid to them. Altiora may request any supporting document required to comply with its own legal obligations.
077. Amendment or withdrawal of the programme
Altiora reserves the right to amend, suspend or end the referral programme at any time. Any change will be communicated to users by any appropriate means and will not call into question rewards definitively acquired before it takes effect.
088. Liability
Altiora does not guarantee the permanent availability of the referral programme or the absence of interruption linked to maintenance, technical constraints or force majeure. It cannot be held liable in the event of temporary inability to take part in the programme or of delay in paying a reward for reasons beyond its control.
099. Governing law
These rules are governed by French law. Any dispute will first be submitted to an attempt at amicable resolution. Failing agreement, the competent French courts will have sole jurisdiction, subject to mandatory provisions applicable to consumers.
